Park Week

Park Week, nothing like Shark Week but almost as cool.

Most of the week was sunny, upper 80's for a few days.
I walked or jogged to the park almost every day.
Either alone, with Moosh, with Ella and Moosh, or with the whole family.
It's an easy distance, 3 miles round trip.

We monkeyed around the playground.

This one gives me vertigo.
It's not a fish-eye lens,
just super-fun and wonky playground equipment.

We played hide and seek.

Hmmmmm...I wonder where Sam is...heehee.

Gotcha!

Moosh and I watched soccer at dusk.

It rained on Sunday, my birthday.
It had been 90 days since it last rained.
I LOVE the rain.
This storm started in Alaska,
so I'll consider it a birthday present from my friends up North.
Thanks friends!

raining at park

A lot of stormy clouds with random downpours.

I also had a reason to wear my Jessica Swift happy, cute rain boots!

rainy birthday

Out my front door, birthday rain clouds.

I personally love the grays and blues of stormy weather
but just in case you need a little pop of color...

Ella cleaned out her writing supplies and junk bin.

I too love rainstorms...the more thunder and lightning the happier I am. I wouldn't want one every day but they are a treasured summer treat. Unfortunately we are in the middle of another sleet/snowstorm. I NEED summer...or at least spring! Happy belated birthday.

The writing supplies look like a really great jigsaw puzzle.

Great capture of the "gotcha" look.

We've been in the really warm weather here. Did you hear that it caused a tornado in Dexter and about wiped the little town out? 4000 people all safe because the early warning system worked.

The pretty teal, white, and pink swirls on the boots echoling the swirls in the H2O are a cool effect.

Thanks JfH! I've been itching to wear those boots for soooo long.

Denise- I'm not sure how long your wintery spring lasts in Canada. I remember in Alaska we had winter, break-up (super slushy) and tourist seasons!

Jackie- I thought the same thing, a puzzle!
Did you spy Sam in the first picture? So funny. I had to hold my camera down by my waist so he didn't notice me looking his way.
I hadn't heard about the tornado. Looked it up, saw a video on youtube. How awful. I'm so glad no one was hurt.
