Thrift/Refurbishing:
I'm refinishing my kitchen chairs.
Well, I'm trying to.
I expected to be DONE with my April projects today,
as I always post goal progress and results on Wednesdays.
Spring had another idea.
It decided to become Summer!
We're breaking records here in Phoenix, we hit 103-105 already.
The directions on my paint and sealers specifically say,
"Do not use in temperatures over 83 degrees".
Thankfully I was able to get the chairs super-close to finished yesterday morning.
It was a bit cooler.
I forced myself to stop when the temperature reached 85.
Tomorrow morning they will be completely done!

Sewing:
Making a memory blanket for close friends using their children's baby clothes.
They have three adorable boys.
The blanket is finished and gorgeous!
I still need to photograph the heck out of it.
I'm going to take it somewhere pretty and get shots of it in the sun.

I'm so totally (geeking out) excited for Jake and Lavina to see what I've done
with their precious memories!
I'm also excited to show you! I will post all the results on Monday.
(That is, if we don't have a monsoon or snow or soar up into the 100's again-
the sealer for the chairs takes 8-24 hours between coats.)

Too bad about the weather, but the chairs will be done before the really hot weather comes. What will your indoor projects be? Can't wait to the the photos.

Our weather is crazy here as well. Cold rain then 90s now today and tomorrow cold and rain then back to the high 80s by Sat!

We're expecting rain tomorrow!
I was able to get a little more done with our cool down today.
I'm super excited to see the chairs finished and show you what I did.
Indoor projects...? Hmmm, still working those out.
I've noticed the weather is crazy all over right now. Hope you both get some nice, mellow Spring sunshine to enjoy.
Holy holy guacamole, what I can see of BOTH your projects blow me away. I tell ya, I'm going to have to get a seatbelt for the big reveal.
