IF: Heights

Illustration Friday
Heights is the word.

IF: Heights

Amabel thinks Thursday night is the perfect time
to scale the HEIGHTS of her musical abilities.

IF: Heights close-up

My Honey is a professional singer and he plays guitar.
My 13 year old sings in her school talent shows and REALLY LOUD in the shower.
My 4 year old can beat-box, making three sounds with his mouth
(at the same time) while playing a beat with his hands...so crazy cool.

Me?

I'm the designated cheerleader.
How's the saying go?
Oh yeah, I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Well, you could always go back to the cello. Otherwise you take after your mother.

Your Amabel looks happy to make the climb.

Very clever - I love it! Also love the 'tune in a bucket' phrase - haven't heard of that one before! I too can't sing for peanuts...

Really interesting take on the theme. I sound like a moaning cat when I sing! :)

Haha, I can't carry a tune in a bucket (also never heard that expression) either. I have a new expression. I carry a tune in a sieve. Seriously, if I catch myself singing and people are around, I usually apologize.

This is a really cool concept for "heights"! Also, hooray for an outfit of purple and orange. :)

Oh Mom, I forgot about the cello! I suppose I was good at that. Now...where to find a cello...???

Karen and Cindy- Can't carry a tune in a bucket, something I always heard growing up. I like your versions too! Thanks for your kind words.

Genna, theodraws and josh- Thanks! I attempted a bit of humor with the words, usually I'm just cracking myself up.

Ooh, that's really neat! This is a great idea, and it looks like it would be fantastic as cut paper art too.

Everyone appreciates a good cheerleader. And to tell you the truth, I think I would rather be serenaded.

Have a great weekend!

hedwig, Ann and Bella- :)
I've heard I'm kinda weird before!
I am quite the loud clapper and woo-hooer.
Yeah, being serenaded is pretty awesome.
Paper-cut...that would be cool.
Thanks to you all.
