It's easier to go down a hill than up it but the view is much better at the top.

A new year.
Two thousand THIRTEEN!!
Where's my hover board? Oh yeah, it's still in the spaceship.
I left it there last time we went camping on the moon.

I plan to get to our goals very soon.
I'll recap what worked out, what didn't and why.
We're also sitting down as a family this week to work out our new goals.
As of now, everyone in our house is better.
!!!!!! Happy Dance !!!!!!
We had that nasty bug for WEEKS. Man, that sucked.
There's a lingering cough but we're ready to party like it's 1999.
Minus the ass-less pants.
Remember when Prince wore those?
Oh, his butt was so teeny and cute. Kinda like a chihuahua.
Because we're all feeling better, we're getting out of the house!
Ella, Mu and I have been walking and hiking.
On our way to the preserve we found a little bit of leftover snow.
Someone had hauled it in for Christmas.
Ella was too funny, she was almost afraid to touch it.
Probably because she's only seen snow "for real" four times.
Mu acted like it was hostile.
Snorting and snuffing, he was very wary of the strange white stuff.
Living in Alaska and Northern Michigan for much of my youth, it felt oh-so-familiar.
Nostalgic. Sense memory in my feet....weird.
Mu is turning into such a beautiful dog.
He gets head turns and compliments wherever we go.
Remember when he looked like this?

Awwwww.
His whole face and ears dipped in ink.
Sometimes it was hard to make out his eyes.
Now look at him...
Such a good boy.
We've all learned so much together over the past year.
You might be wondering what happened with the Spoonflower snowflakes contest.
Over the Holidays,
they didn't run another contest so the snowflakes stayed up for two weeks.
I'll probably find out the results tomorrow.
So, I'll get back in the thick of goals and contests soon.
Most likely you'll see the rest of our Holiday vacation first.
Like the zoo - and more hiking...and maybe some tennis.

Your dog is SO cute!
From his little ink-dipped face, I never imagined he'd be such a pretty boy :)
