Tyler and I went to the park on Friday to break in his new basketball.
I think my percentage of baskets made was somewhere around 15%.
My inbows are killing me.
Inbows...you know, the opposite of elbows.
What else are they called?
We played horse.
I lost.
We took shot for shot.
He's much better at actually putting the ball in the hoop than I am.
Hey, I'm a shortie.
5'2" with no skillzzz.
A few more inches...I'd be golden (yeah, right).
I started to get bored with the lack of moving.
There was A LOT of chasing the ball...
But I wanted to run, to move all the time.
I suggested we run laps around the court and he could take shots at each end.
Haha- that's where I kicked his butt.
Sure, Tyler can sink baskets but booyah, I can run circles around him.
He was wheezing when I was just getting started.
We're going to do this once a week for awhile.
It's been scheduled.
I'll work on my aim and upper body, he'll work on his cardio.
Basketball is Tyler's favorite sport.
Maybe now that we're going to make it a thing
he'll break down and buy some shorts.
What's your favorite sport? Do you play often or just like to watch?

My fave sport is track and field. Hard to watch other than the olympics, but they have some local track meets for the hs kids that I could go watch.
I can't really participate (since I'm not a high schooler, lol) but I like to pretend the I'm racing the people on the treadmills next to me at the gym :)
Oooh, love track and field! Haha, I've "raced" the people next to me too. I guess it depends on where you live...my sis in Colorado is involved with a huge group of people who get together (outside) for athletic activities. Here in Phoenix, eh, not so much.
Basketball was HUGE for me in grade, middle, and high school. Now it’s just games of Horse or small pickup games at the park.
Kickball has become a favorite pastime of mine. Yes we dress in costume and drink PBR but it’s still a good workout :)
During the winter its skiing and snowshoeing.
Kickball! Sounds so fun!! Oh, if I was in Colorado I'd definitely be skiing and snowshoeing too. I'm not sure I could even stay up on skis though, it's been so long.
