Spoonflower asked designers to create a fabric with the theme of Girl Power.
They also want the patterns to be appealing to kids.
I believe a happy girl is a powerful girl.
And happy girls like to play, learn and have fun.
I made two 20" x 20" pillow mock-ups.
One in Happy Girls Blue:
And one in Happy Girl Yellow:
When I asked Ella and Sam which one they liked better, it was a tie.
I guess I need another kid who speaks my language.
Sorry Mu.
In the coin toss, blue won.
I'm on the fence with this one.
I like it...and I don't.
It's alright.
Maybe I'd feel better about some of my works
if I created them before the day they're due?
That still needs to be shifted into my schedule.
Who knows? This might just be someone's perfect cup of tea.
This might be YOUR perfect cup of tea.
Or not.
Either way, we're cool.
Let's have tea together.
Or coffee.
Or a glass of wine.
Hold on, I'll go get the cork screw thingy.
I'll be back later today with a link to vote for your favorite Girl Power designs.
I'll also share my favorites for the week.
Oh,
and I'll update on how my Spring Sky pattern did in the Lions and Lambs contest.
Spoonflower usually posts contests/results around 10:30am my time, in Arizona.

I voted! I voted! Awww, your design is so cute! I can't decide which color I like either. And yay for your Lambs & Lions! What a great concept and really adorable. It's great to catch up with you. Your kids look as wonderful as ever, and Oooooooh, so sorry for your kidney stone ordeal. Glad you're on the other side of that. And I love your napkins! What a great idea!
Happy Intl Women's Day!

None of my favs made it into the top 10. First time for everything.
It's so hard to chose between the blue and the yellow. I like them both for different reasons.
