Yesterday, while I Facebooked with friends about super important things (uh-huh),
I also made some fabric napkins.
Nothing matchy-matchy.
At all.
I searched through my stash and pulled out a few beauties.
There's some Anna Maria Horner,
Joel Dewberry,
thrift store scores,
leftover Kona from my cathedral pillow,
leftover Seuss from Sam's overstuffed pillow
and leftover Thomas from the memory blanket.
Whoa, there's a ton of online tutorials for these things. I used THIS one.
HERE's another really easy tutorial, a little different than what I did.
Our napkins are for every day use but if you want to get fancy, you can try THIS tute.
So pretty.
I was jonesing to use my machine.
It's been waaaaaay to long.
It was still threaded with green octopus thread.
A couple hours of ironing and (occasional wonky) sewing...
we're all ready for ketchup (catsup?) smears
and mushroom juice.
