Mu turned two years old last week! He's such a happy, weird, funny, cuddly and sweet pooch.
I love that smile!
He's a great hiking partner too.
We've been out more and more often because it's finally cooling down.
It was the freakin' hottest summer on record and I'm sooooo glad it's almost over.
Sweaty mouth breathers...
Mu on a trail...
Ella and I have been window shopping with a little bit of buying.
First we hit up the nursery.
We bought a bunch of succulents and moved them into Ikea and thrifted pots. I'm in love.
Ikea has a few things we're contemplating but have yet to buy.
We're in the middle of making Ella's room less girly, more moody teenager.
She wants everything dark purple, gray, black and white.
Not in a depressed way - more like THIS (but we're not painting walls). We're going to search craiglist, the mall, TJMaxx, HomeGoods and a few thrift shops (for project materials) before we finalize anything.
Along with some of Sam's stuff, we donated 19 bags of outgrown, no longer loved/needed things to GoodWill. I was a little sad to see this dress and this dress go...but really, there's no need to keep them around as dust collectors. She'll have a new dress in her closet soon - Homecoming is this weekend.
I made seven 10 minute envelope pillow cases for the living room sofas.
Ella helped pick out the home dec fabrics.
I also reupholstered my headboard with the gray Ikat-ish dots.
My newest pattern, 80's Forever is now available on phone cases, pillows and assorted other things in my Society6 shop.
80's Forever is also in the latest Spoonflower contest for small-scale geometrics to be printed on all types of shoes.
I love the flirty heel and would totally wear some with jeans and a tee.
If you like my design and have time, I'd love your vote!
No need to sign up for anything, vote for as many designs as you like- there's just a quick captcha at the end.
Besides school hopping, this is some of what we've been up to.
What's been going on with you?
